A letter from our founder

Welcome to Redemption Christian Academy

It is important that all students, prospective students, parents, and guardians understand that RCA is a family-oriented institution that is structured to facilitate excellence. This translates into transformation. Transformation is an evolving process that challenges all students to reach their highest point of excellence or achievement, their ne plus ultra! Consequently, the learning process must be challenging enough to extract every bit of potential by developing and nurturing an academic appetite or inclination.

At RCA, we believe that lifelong learning is a lifestyle that keeps the intellect nurtured and can make individuals an indispensable asset to society. The great Congregationalist, Henry Ward Beecher said, “Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody else expects of you. Never excuse yourself. Never pity yourself. Be a hard master to yourself and be lenient to everybody else!” We believe that there is no greater motivation than self-motivation. If you do not let yourself down, most likely you will not let anyone else down. Through RCA’s ongoing emphasis on transformation, students are motivated to challenge themselves incessantly. This perspective is worded perfectly in the old adage of “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best” (St. Jerome). Basically we believe in extending ourselves to help those who want to help themselves.

The first challenge for every prospective student is to bring, develop, or adopt an attitude of hard work and sacrifice. Transformation will challenge your comfort zone and your resiliency to be the very best that you can be. Faith and confidence will catapult and reinforce your effort to succeed. Here at RCA, we believe that students can succeed if they persevere unwaveringly. We further believe that true education is a tool that teaches cognitive skills for self-education and lifelong learning. When you enter these doors, expect that this is the first day of the rest of your life and choose to make it auspicious! Choose to be great, because you have taken a very important step by deciding to enter into a structured environment that is conducive for learning.

Where you go determines who you meet; who you meet determines what you think; what you think determines what you do; what you do determines what you become! The RCA family welcomes you!

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
