At Redemption Christian Academy, our uniform is more than a dress code, it is part of our educational philosophy.

Students come to RCA from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, yet they are united by a shared commitment to grow in Mind, Character, and Purpose. Wearing the school uniform reminds us that we are part of something greater than ourselves. It promotes unity, minimizes distractions, encourages personal responsibility, and reinforces the values of discipline, respect, and excellence that define our community.

Just as our academics, athletics, leadership opportunities, and Career Pathways Program prepare students for college, careers, and life, our uniform reflects the professionalism, accountability, and self-respect expected both on campus and beyond graduation.

Purchasing Your Uniform

To provide families with both consistency and affordability, Redemption Christian Academy has approved several options for purchasing school uniforms.

Please Note: Any garment requiring the official RCA logo must either be purchased through Student Styles or submitted to the RCA Apparel Design Department after your student arrives on campus. A customization fee will apply.

Boarding Student Recommendations

To ensure boarding students are prepared for the school week, we recommend the following minimum uniform inventory.

Boys
  • 3 pairs of navy uniform pants
  • 4 white or light blue Oxford shirts
  • 1 official RCA blazer
Girls
  • Multiple approved navy uniform skirts
  • 4 white or light blue Oxford shirts
  • 1 official RCA blazer

Standard Uniform Requirements

Shirts
  • White or light blue Oxford-cloth shirt with the official RCA logo
  • Shirts must remain neatly tucked in throughout the school day.
Undergarments
  • Plain white undershirts must be worn beneath white uniform shirts.
  • Thermal garments are permitted during colder weather but may not be visible.
Shoes
Students are required to wear solid:
  • Black
  • Dark Brown
  • Navy Blue

Rubber-soled dress shoes or casual shoes are acceptable.

Slides, flip-flops, and open-back footwear are not permitted during the school day.

Girls' Uniform Guidelines

Uniform Skirts
  • Must remain at or below the knee
  • May not be rolled, folded, or shortened
  • Please leave room for future growth when hemming
  • Sweatpants or warm-up pants may not be worn underneath skirts
Socks & Tights
Students may wear:
  • Plain navy knee-high socks
  • Plain navy full-length footed tights
No-show socks are not permitted.

Jewelry
Girls may wear:
  • One pair of small earrings
The following are not permitted:
  • Nose rings
  • Facial piercings
  • Excessive jewelry
Jewelry deemed inappropriate may be confiscated by the Administration.

Boys' Uniform Guidelines

Uniform Pants
  • Must be worn at the waist
  • Plain navy uniform pants only
  • No cargo pants
  • Dark brown or black leather belt required
  • Undergarments may not be visible
  • Sweatpants and athletic warm-ups may not be worn during class
Socks & Tights
No-show socks are not permitted.

Jewelry
Boys may not wear jewelry during classes or chapel services.

Additional Uniform Expectations

Students are expected to maintain a neat, professional appearance throughout the school day.

  • Uniforms should always be clean and in good repair.
  • Uniforms may not be altered or defaced.
  • Hats may not be worn inside school buildings.
  • Sunglasses may not be worn indoors.
  • Heavy coats should be removed before entering classrooms.
  • Student-athletes may wear approved team warm-ups only on game days when departing during school hours.
  • Relaxed dress may only be worn after school or during Administration-approved activities.

Uniform Accountability

At Redemption Christian Academy, expectations exist to help students develop responsibility, self-discipline, and respect for themselves and others.

Students who are not in compliance with the uniform policy may be subject to:

  • Uniform violation fines
  • Assigned work duty
  • Temporary removal from class until appropriate attire is obtained

Our goal is not punishment, but character development. Learning to meet expectations, take responsibility, and present oneself with excellence are important life skills that prepare students for success in college, careers, leadership, and service.
