This season, the coaches are ready. The mentors are prepared. The staff is committed.
The question is not whether RCA will do its part. The question is whether you will do yours?
Will your name be remembered in the stories told in these hallways? Or will you be another almost - almost made it, almost worked hard enough, almost earned the opportunity, almost left a legacy?
"Nothing ever comes to one that is worth having, except as a result of hard work."
- Booker. T. Washington
How to Answer the Call
Greatness is not an accident. It is built through daily choices - the unseen habits, the quiet discipline, and the sacrifices no one applauds. True commitment doesn’t look normal. To rise, you must be willing to break from the pack
- Fuel your body wisely. Choose natural, life-giving foods - honey, nuts, lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables - to build strength and support recovery.
- Rest with intention. Sleep is part of training. Champions protect it with the same seriousness as practice.
- Feed your mind. Limit mindless scrolling. Every wasted hour is a rep you didn't take and a play you didn't study. Watch film. Study the greats. Revisit RCA games. Learn the game deeply.
- Honor your academics. Schoolwork is non-negotiable. Neglecting your studies or your service is not an option. Fail in the classroom, and you fail on the court.
- Serve others. RCA is built on service. Coaches, staff, and volunteers give more than you may realize - and you are expected to give back. Service builds humility, strength, and character.
"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else."
- Booker. T. Washington
